Joseph Gustave William Hedtcke

Joseph Gustave William Hedtcke, age 80, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at his Waukesha home. He was born in Waukesha on May 27, 1925, to Gustave and Rose (nee Maul) Hedtcke.

Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country in Korea. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. His favorite pastime was watching television. He especially loved the old shows and the old actors/actresses.

Joseph worked for the City of Waukesha for 20 years, Schlitz Brewery, Fox Head Brewery for 18 years and also for Bon Ton Bottling.

He is survived by his nephews, Ronald Hedtcke Sr. of Milwaukee and Edward (Mickey) Kormann of Waukesha, and a niece, Barbara (Mike) Behrens of Waukesha. Great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Lester Hedtcke, Josephine Hedtcke, Irene Kormann and Edward Hedtcke, and infant brother and sister, Fred and Viola.

Visitation for Joseph will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
