Harvey R. Luer, 77, of Waukesha, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Dunn County on Oct. 26, 1928, to Rudolph and Viola (nee Lundequam) Luer.
Harvey was a Scoutmaster for Troop #6. He was employed at Waukesha Engine, Dresser Industries for 43 years and was a member of the International Association of Machinistís Local #1377. He was a horse lover, enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and especially loved his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, June (nee Clark) Luer of Waukesha and their children, Mark (Elaine) Luer of Wisconsin Dells, Pam (Gary Bingner) Luer of Minneapolis, Todd (Karen) Luer of the town of Ottawa and four grandchildren, Jessica, Jonathon, Grant and Emily. He is further survived by his sister, Donna (Duane) Calton of Waukesha, and sister-in-law, Ann Luer of Oxford, nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Scott Luer, and his brother, Lee Luer.
Visitation and services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home.
