Gustave W. Brenner

Gustave W. Brenner, 100, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at his Waukesha home. He was born in Oltelsburg, Germany, on May 17, 1905, to Wilhelm and Anna (nee Jedamsky) Brenner.

Mr. Brenner was employed at Waukesha Engine, retiring in 1970. He was also employed at Wisconsin Centrifugal and the Waukesha Freeman where he worked as a part-time security guard. He was a member of Falls Baptist Church since 1998 and was a former member of Waukesha Bible Church. For 11 years, he volunteered for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. He enjoyed preparing and conducting religious services for the mission and many times played his harmonica and violin during the services.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 73 years, Clara (nee Kienow) Brenner of Waukesha, and their son, Allan Brenner of Waukesha.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Ann Brenner, four brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with the Rev. Wayne VanGelderen officiating. Visitation continues from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. procession to the graveside services Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Prairie Home Cemetery.
