Jane E. Manly
Jane Elizabeth Manly, 70, of Salem, S.C., died Thursday, June 29, 2006.
A native of Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Andrew John and Elizabeth (nee Daumer) Bankos.
Jane retired from Roli Ink, where she was co-owner and secretary/treasurer. A member of Walhalla Presbyterian Church in South Carolina, she was also an active golfer with the Keowee Key Ladies. Evident in the pies and cheesecakes she made, Jane was a wonderful baker and cook.
She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed for her caring and compassionate nature and love of family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald George Manly, and children, Kerry (Michele) Stefanyak of Northampton, Pa., Deborah (Walter) Freeman of St. Charles, Mo., Donna (James) Pankratz of Madison, Lynn (Rick) Kubinec of Bethlehem, Pa., and Rebecca (Adam) Fenton of New York City. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Christopher (Tabitha), Michael, Andrea, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Anthony, Shawn, Jeanine, James, Shannon, Alex and Jack; her great-grandchildren, Alexis and Benjamin; and her brothers, Donald Bankos of Walnutport, Pa., and James Bankos of Gonzalez, La.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will be at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walhalla Presbyterian Church.
