Theodore A. Tetzlaff

Jan. 30, 1934 - July 2, 2006

Theodore A. Tetzlaff, 72, of Oconomowoc, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Born on Jan. 30, 1934, in Hartland, he was the son of Julius F. and Mary (nee Tessman) Tetzlaff.

Theodore was employed as a highway supervisor in the town of Merton. He also loved to farm in the town of Merton. He was a member of St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. On April 26, 1953, he was united in marriage with Alice Frank at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; his children, Sally Tetzlaff and Darwin (Judi) Tetzlaff, both of Stone Bank; his grandchildren, Kristopher Tetzlaff and Jake Tetzlaff of Stone Bank; and his siblings, Julius (Donna) of Oconomowoc, Harriet (Victor) Gennerman of Watertown, Roberta (Anita) of Oconomowoc, Marion Kraut of Sussex, Dorothy Jenson of Hartland, Milen of Spring Green and Florence Wildish of Hartland. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law, Dennis Schlesner of Oconomowoc and Allen (Mitzi) Frank of Oconomowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his siblings, Dick, Hazel, Gerhardt, Rose, Irene, Ruben and Beverly, and his sister-in-law, Beatrice.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, July 6, at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church, 210 E. Pleasant St., Oconomowoc, where the Revs. Ronald Krug and Douglas Fleischfesser will officiate. Burial will be at Kettle Moraine Presbyterian Cemetery, Stone Bank.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paulís RTM fund or St. Paulís radio ministry.
