Elmer "Kelly" Kerlin, 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2006.

He is the loving father of Kal (Diane) Kerlin, Jeffrey (Tina) Kerlin and Nicole (Bill) Mammen; cherished grandfather of Gina, Jessie, Samantha, David, Daniel, Rebekah, Joshua, Luke, Rachel and Sarah; and great-grandfather to Christian.

He was a World War II veteran in the Marines.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. memorial service Sunday, July 9, at Christ Lutheran Church, S89-W22970 Maple Ave., Big Bend.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America
