Roberta L. Paschke (nee Duckert)

Feb. 9, 1923 - July 6, 2006

Roberta L. Paschke (nee Duckert), 83, was happy to die in the Lord and sing her songs to Him on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Roberta was born to the late Arthur and Winifred Duckert on Feb. 9, 1923.

She is the beloved mother of Kathleen (Donald) Reichert of Colorado Springs, Colo., and James E. (Betty) Paschke of New Berlin. Roberta will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Kaylee (Chris) Drake and Jamilynn Reichert, all of Colorado Springs, and Karen Paschke of New Berlin. Ashlynn Marie Drake, Roberta’s first great-grandchild, born June 20, will be told much of her precious great-grandmother. Her pride and joy were her brothers, Lehman Duckert of Arizona, Chester (Mary Ann) Duckert of Waukesha and the late Robert Duckert. She is further survived by her dear sister-in-law, Barbara Duckert of Waukesha, other relatives and friends.

Roberta’s passion was her First Evangelical and Reformed Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, Woman’s Guild president and many other offices. She devoted her work life in service to others at Waukesha Training Center and Virginia Health Care Center. She was passionate about social causes and world concerns.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at First Congregational Church, 100 E. Broadway, Waukesha. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.

Memorials in Roberta’s name may be directed to the First Evangelical and Reformed Church rebuilding program or youth departments.
