Beatrice "Bea" Marie Piotrowski

April 5, 1929 - July 8, 2006

Beatrice "Bea" Marie Piotrowski, 77, of Waukesha, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Bea was born in Milwaukee on April 5, 1929, the daughter of Michael and Viola (nee Lemieue) Drayna. She was a founding member of St. William Catholic Church. Bea volunteered at the Lutheran Social Service Adult Day Center, Oak Hill Village and the St. William Catholic Church rummage sales. She enjoyed ceramics and knitting.

Bea will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, William; children, Beatrice Piotrowski, Louann (Larry) Shanklin and Bill (Mary) Piotrowski, all of Waukesha; grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin Yamada) Shanklin of Houston, Larry Jr. Shanklin (Kristi) of Waukesha and Amanda and Gabriel Piotrowski of Waukesha; great-grandson, Wade Shanklin; and brothers, Mike (Diane) Drayna of Tucson, Ariz., and Clarence (Marge) Drayna of Green Bay. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bea is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leonard (Lois) Drayna and her grandson, Nathaniel Piotrowski.

A funeral Mass for Bea will be held Friday, July 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Williamís Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Leonard Barbian will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, July 13, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., from 4 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. vigil service, and also on Friday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the procession to the church for a 10 a.m. Mass.

Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
