Wilbur H. Zipfel

Wilbur H. Zipfel of Waukesha died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at AngelsGrace Hospice at age 83. Wilbur was born in Waukesha on July 28, 1922, the son of John and Louise (nee Lamp) Zipfel.
He was a foreman at Federal Windows for 30 years and employed at Mead Towel Service for more than 10 years. Wilbur loved to golf, fish, hunt and snowmobile.
Wilbur will be sadly missed by his wife, Marion Kutchera-Zipfel (formerly Bunker); daughters, Judy (Ronnie) Spiller of Guin, Ala., Kary (Dean) Schwartz of Waukesha and Jane (Daniel) Moldenhauer of Waukesha; grandchildren, Leann Spiller, Kim (Stoney) Huguley, Stacy (Amy) Spiller, Kristen (Karl) Baum, Denean Repp, Jennifer Schwartz and Wesley and Jason Moldenhauer; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathon and Jacob Huguley, Kaitlyn and Kaden Spiller and Brittany and Hailee Repp; his brother, John Zipfel of Waukesha; and his sister, Lorene Sievert of North Prairie. Wilbur is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lenora Zipfel; and his sister, Helen Downie.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service today, July 25, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. James Olia will officiate. Interment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Wednesday, July 26. Please meet at the funeral home at 11 a.m.
