Lester Benz

May 8, 1929 - July 24, 2006

Lester Benz, 77, began his journey home Monday, July 24, 2006.

He is the loving husband of 56 years to Lois (nee Bartz); beloved father of Jonni (Bill) Hulse, Chris (Don) Daiker, Nick (Debi), Michael (Cheri) and Shelley; proud grandfather of Chad (Liz), Brittany (Tom), Carley (Max), Kristopher, Kelley, Lauren, Nathan, Katie, Melissa (Brian) and Ashley (Richard); great-grandfather of Lily; and dear brother of Lucille, Marian, the late Frank, Robert, Ruth, Phyllis and Judy. Other relatives and many friends further survive.

A special thank you to everyone who cared for Lester at LindenGrove in Waukesha. Your friendship and concern were a comfort to us all.

A memorial gathering will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 W. Capitol Drive.
