Dorothy Hall, 91, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Woodland Health Care Center. She was born in Milwaukee on May 20, 1915, to Henry and Josephine (nee Zietski) Voigt. She was most well-known as the "shoe lady" selling shoes at Seven-Mile Fair for 35 years. Dorothy was a kind and giving person who worked hard and enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Leander) Brahm of Pewaukee and Richard O’Flahrity of Grafton; five grandchildren, Kathy (Larry) Leanna of Milwaukee, Dan (Rose) Brahm of Milwaukee, John Brahm of Florida, Samantha (Rick) Burnett of Waukesha and Michele (Chaun) Medema of Milwaukee; eight great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Craig Ludwig.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Tuesday, June 6, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will take place at Wood National Cemetery.
