Christopher Herrmann, 37, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born June 23, 1968, the son of Richard and Cynthia (nee Krueger) Herrmann.
Christopher grew up in Waukesha and graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1986. In 2002, he moved to Albuquerque to pursue a new career.
He was known for his outlandish sense of humor. A lover of hiking in the mountains and mountain biking, he also was passionate about music and his cats.
Surviving are his parents, Richard and Cynthia of Waukesha, his sister, Melissa (Dan) Cunderman, and his nephews, Caleb and Mathias Cunderman, all of Mill City, Ore. He is also survived by his grandmother, Florence Krueger; his special uncle, Rich Krueger; his loving aunt, Vickie (Krueger) Simon; his aunts and uncles, George and Corrine Herrmann and Jack and Mary Jo Kocourek; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Krueger; his uncle, Jim Krueger; and his grandparents, Lucille and Eldred Herrmann.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorials to the Albuquerque Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
