James M. Mess

Longtime Waukesha resident James M. Mess, age 79, died Monday, June 12, 2006 at LindenGrove Health Care Center in Waukesha. He was born in Marinette, Wis. on Aug. 5, 1926 to Adrian and Martha (nee Hass) Mess. He worked as an engineer and retired from Cast Alloy. James loved locomotives, was an avid model railroad enthusiast, and was involved in many clubs and associations. He was also a former scoutmaster. James was a strong and tireless advocate for the disabled, volunteering his time and resources to numerous national and local organizations.

James is survived by his church family at Apostolic Life Tabernacle and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha with the Rev. Michael Hook presiding.
