Gerald ‘Jerry’ Miller

Gerald "Jerry" Miller, 79, of Mukwonago, died Friday, June 16, 2006, at his residence.

Born on Dec. 12, 1926, in Jefferson, he was the son of Edward and Emily Miller.

Jerry served in the Navy during World War II. On Aug. 25, 1952, he married Shirley Stoltz at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

From 1963 to 1996, he was the owner of Miller Pharmacy in Mukwonago. Jerry was a member of the Mukwonago Kiwanis Club, the American Legion Post 375, the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, the Dance club and, since 1952, Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. He was also an avid golfer, bowler and gardener

He is survived by his wife; his children, Pat (Tim) Vandehey of Mukwonago and Betsy (Milo) Johnson of Grand Junction, Colo.; and his grandchildren, Katie and Nick Vandehey, and Milena and Kelby Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. today, June 19, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 211 Main St., Mukwonago, where a funeral service will immediately follow. The Rev. Glenn Zimbelman will officiate. Burial is at Oak Knoll Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or the American Lung Association.
