Janet C. Houk, 71, died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Palmyra, the daughter of Curtis and Hasel (nee Bishop) Agen.

She was a lifelong resident of Palmyra and retired from Trent Tube in East Troy.

She is survived by her husband, Richard of Palmyra; daughters, Rhonda (Rob) Leader of Oconomowoc, Debra (Robert) Balk of Eagle and Roxanne (Steve) Pease of Sullivan; four grandchildren, Carlee and Brooke Balk and Hailey and Brandon Leader; sisters, Beverly Nelson of Eagle and Ruth Ann Vetense of Palmyra; brothers, David Agen and Donald Agen, both of Palmyra; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her parents.

A private family gathering will be held.
