Marian R. Huebner

Marian R. Huebner of Waukesha passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 23, 1924, in Ixonia, the daughter of Rudolph and Selma (nee Kohlnoff) Degner.

Marian dedicated herself to the Lord by serving as Sunday school teacher and also singing in the choir at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She lived her life for him and her family. Amidst her health problems, Marian always showed concern for her family and her many dear friends. After a visit, they would always go away feeling uplifted. She will also be fondly remembered for her ability to speak intelligently about any subject.

Marian will be sadly missed by her brother, Orville (Eldonna) Degner of Arizona, and her four sisters, Dorothy Stark of Brookfield, Elaine Stark of Zion, Ill., Margaret (Allan) Schubring of Lake in the Hills, Ill., and Darlene Graf of Waukesha. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, two nieces, one nephew and one great-niece.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Friday, March 3, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, with Rev. Michael Turriff officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Paulís Cemetery in Ixonia.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Dr. Guzetta, the staff at Waukesha Springs and Pastors Turriff and Pappenfuss for their love and support they gave to them.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
