Dorathy A. Timm, 83, of Delafield, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at her home.

Born on Dec. 16, 1922, in Black Creek, she was the daughter of Walter and Ella (nee Behl) Kluge.

She worked as a registered dietician. Dorathy was a 1945 graduate of Milwaukee Downer College, was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield and was a past member of the Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc Board of Directors. She enjoyed her family, church, traveling and reading.

Survivors include her husband, William O. Timm, whom she married Feb. 3, 1951, in Black Creek; her children, Betsi (Tom) Smith of Dubuque, Iowa, and Karl (Traci) Timm of Oconomowoc; her daughter-in-law, Jeanine of Columbus, Ind.; and her grandchildren, Katie, John, Paul, Ingrid, Abbi and Tommy.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bill Timm, and her brother, Ralph Kluge.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 Genesee St., Delafield, where the Rev. Deane Peterson will officiate. Friends may visit the church following the service. Burial will take place at the City of Delafield Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Milwaukee Downer College Fund, Lawrence University in Appleton or Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc.
