Roy F. Marks II

Roy F. Marks II of Waukesha died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 56. He was born May 8, 1949, in Beloit, the son of Roy and Mary (nee Benz) Marks I.
He was united in marriage to Doris Benter on Aug. 24, 1974. He was employed for the Village of Pewaukee for 30 years. Roy was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha, where he served as an usher and elder. Along with his wife, he was a member of the Concerned Hearts Club. Roy was a train enthusiast and a stamp collector and belonged to the Waukesha Stamp Club.
Roy will be sadly missed by his wife, Doris, of Waukesha; his daughter, Joy, of Waukesha; his sister, Sandy (Mark) Velderrain, of Corona, Calif.; nephew, Jonathan Adams, of Corona; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Benter and Leonard (Carol) Benter. He is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service Saturday, March 4, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, with Rev. James Gorman and the Rev. Bob Alman officiating. A private burial will take place Monday, March 6, at Prairie Home Cemetery.
