Clarisse M. Dewar

Clarisse M. Dewar of Waukesha, died on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at AngelsGrace Hospice at age 86.

Clarisse was born Feb. 15, 1920, in Sherwood, the daughter of Bert and Emma Klassen. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former member of the Christian Mothers Association. She was employed at the former McCoy’s Department Store for 25 years. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, crafting, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Clarisse will be sadly missed by her children, Jean A. (Phil) Walker of Eagle, Carol L. (Jack) Fekete of Waukesha, Mary E. (John) King of Frenchtown, Mont., Patricia J. (Joe) Beyer of Rome, Wis., Anne E. (Butch) Blakley of Viola, Paul J. Dewar of Waukesha, Tom M. (Linda) Dewar of Oconomowoc and J.P. (Debbie) Dewar of Okauchee; daughter-in-law, Jane Dewar of Pewaukee; her grandchildren, John (Nancy), Lori (Rob), Tim (Robin), Wendy (Craig), Corey (Monica), Tricia, T.J. (Nikki), Adam, Kylynn (TJ), Erin, A.J., Cora and Jesse and her 11 great grandchildren. Clarisse was preceded in death by her husband, John, on May 21, 1977, her son, John, on March 4, 2002, her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2006, from 5 p.m. until the 8 p.m. vigil service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A second visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2006, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Burial will take place immediately following the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
