Leroy A. Fenzl

Leroy A. Fenzl, 74, of Oconomowoc, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, while on vacation in Florida. Leroy was born June 12, 1931, in Milwaukee. He was a resident of Oconomowoc for 45 years.
Leroy was a retired Army veteran and an Oconomowoc High School social worker. He continued his work with children as a volunteer at St. Paulís Lutheran Church and had also been a volunteer at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
Leroy is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Lee (Casey) Fenzl of Oconomowoc; his daughters, Sally Riolo and Peggy (Jeff) Bolstad of Horicon, Tina (Kevin) Kurtz and sons Tony and Tim Heinecke, also of Oconomowoc; 11 grandchildren, Angela Valle, Jamie and Josh Fenzl, Matt, Paul and Tom Riolo, Zach and Dessie Bolstad and Brody, Ethan and Kylee Kurtz; four great-grandsons, Austin, Adam and Allen Valle and Skylar Fenzl; and his sister, Phyllis (Clyde) Haight of Whitter, Calif.
Leroy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Julia and Alvin Fenzl; his first wife, Verona (Roni) Fenzl; and a great-grandson.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, March 21, at St. Paulís Lutheran Church, 218 Pleasant St., Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Childrenís Hospital and Health Systems Foundation of Milwaukee.
