Daphne M. Vogt

Daphne M. (nee Maas) Vogt, 85, of Oconomowoc, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Shorehaven Health Care Center in Oconomowoc.
Born Sept. 26, 1920, in Ashippun, she was the daughter of Leonard and Adeline (nee Pagenkopf) Maas.
A graduate of Oconomowoc High School, she later attended Valparaiso University. She was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, where she participated in the St. Paulís Ladies Aid, choir and alter guild. Daphne also volunteered for many years at the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Gift Box.
Surviving are her children, H. Charles (Elizabeth) Vogt of San Francisco and Susan (Kean) Kemnitz of Hartland; grandchildren, H. Bradley (Eileen) Vogt of San Carlos, Calif., Chad (Tyia) Kemnitz of Rubicon, Amy (Larry) Boushey of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Wade (Amy) Kemnitz of Knoxville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lucas, Nathan, Nicole, Kevin and Allen; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, LaVerna Ketter.
Visitation will be held fron 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, March 24, at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church, 210 E. Pleasant St., Oconomowoc, with the Rev. Paul Borgman and the Rev. Ronald Krug officiating. Burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paulís Lutheran Church or Shorehaven Health Care Center.
