Henry J. Foat

Henry Foat, 85, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 23, 2006, in Park Falls. He was born Sept. 4, 1920, to Oscar and Elizabeth Foat, in the Wisconsin Dells area.

He married Dorothy Hengen in Dubuque, Iowa, on June 28, 1940.

Henry worked for the Brook Hill Farms in the town of Genesee, the Butler Bin Co. in Waukesha, White Rock Bottling Co. in Waukesha for 25 years and the RTE-ASEA Co. in Waukesha for 20 years until his retirement in 1986. Henry and his wife then moved to Park Falls. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Park Falls; daughter, Sherry (Michael) Casey of Tomahawk; three grandchildren, Douglas (Julie) Doughty of Waukesha, Jamie (Jason) Treml of Butternut and Scott (Tammy) Casey of Park Falls; five great-grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Doughty, Makayla and Ashley Casey and Chase Treml; two brothers, Chester (Denise) Foat of Colorado and Milton (Janet) Foat of Big Bend; two sisters, Monica (Bob) Knuth of Waukesha and Marion (Robert) Mutter of Waterford; and his son-in-law, Timothy Doughty of Park Falls, and his children, Wendy and Tami. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Nancy Doughty; and five brothers, Alvin, Vernon, Leo, Riebert, and Edward Foat.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until the 5:30 p.m. service Monday, March 27, at Novitzke Funeral Home Chapel in Park Falls. The Rev. Loren Barker will officiate.

Interment will take place at a later date at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
