Timothy R. McLaughlin

Timothy R. McLaughlin of Hartford, surrounded by his loving family, was born to eternal life March 14, 2006, at age 82. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of James and Mary (nee OíBrien) McLaughlin.

Timothy married Ruth Boncel in Milwaukee on Jan. 29, 1949. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Timothy was a graduate of Marquette University. He retired from Milwaukee Centrifuge after 28 years of service. In his retirement, he worked at Kettle Moraine Golf Course for many years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #4580 and a member of St. Kilianís Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of Hartford; his loving children, Timothy R. Jr. (Mary) McLaughlin of Nevada, Iowa, Patrick (Kathleen) McLaughlin of New Berlin, Ruth (John) Ferry of Okemos, Mich., Mary Claire (Bruce) Nawrocke of Lake Mary, Fla., Kathi (James) Olson of Jackson and Maureen (Michael) Brohmer of La Crosse; brothers, James (Nancy) McLaughlin of Tuleake, Calif., and Leo McLaughlin of Billings, Mont.; and sister, Rosemary Boschert of Billings. He is also survived by his cherished 25 grandchildren and 4 1/2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John; and grandson, Patrick Ryan.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, March 28, at St. Kilianís Catholic Church, 428 Forest St., Hartford. Interment will be at St. Adalbertís Cemetery, Milwaukee.

The McLaughlin family would like to thank Tricia and all the nurses who cared for Tim, especially his granddaughter, Sarah. The family would like to acknowledge a heart-felt thank you to the ASERA Care Hospice for their loving and gentle care of Tim.
