Janice A. Kurek

Janice A. (nee Fahey) Kurek, 67, of Pewaukee, was born to eternal life Monday, March 27, 2006.

She was a registered nurse, graduating from Columbia Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. Janice was a true Christian, loving God and her family. She will be deeply missed by all.

She was the loving wife and best friend of more than 43 years to Bryan; loving mother of Maureen (Duane) Deisinger, Sheryl Kurek and Amy (Shawn) Selode; proud grandmother of Andrea, Alex, Jordan, Ben, Taylor, Zach and Jake; dear daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Kurek; daughter of Vivian (nee Boumeester) Fahey; and sister of Thomas E. Fahey. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Her father, Edward Fahey, and her grandmother, Nellie Fahey, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until the 8 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, March 29, at Yonke & Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. A second visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, March 30, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 111 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee, with the Rev. Richard Krause and the Rev. Timothy Gerbing officiating. Interment is at Forest Hill Cemetery.
