James William Prag

James William Prag, 69, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Waukesha, passed away early Friday morning, April 28, 2006, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Jim was member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and a former member of First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Navy. Jim was retired from Cooper Power Systems after 22 years of service. Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Prag; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Thomas Trapp of Salem, Conn., and Amy and Brad Wilkerson of Kingston, Tenn.; grandchildren, Amelia, David, Michaela, Lydia, Sarah, Daniel, Maria, Hannah Joy and Joseph Trapp; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Sherry Prag of Kissimmee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, followed by a celebration of life at 11 a.m., with Dr. Steve Sallee officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the East Tennessee State Veteranís Cemetery for graveside services.
