Beulah M. Vick, 79, of Mukwonago, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Lindengrove Nursing Home in Mukwonago.
The daughter of Floyd and Bessie (nee Deyoe) Holsinger, she was born Dec. 27, 1926, in Palmyra.
Beulah married Gordon C. Vick on Dec. 27, 1945, at her parentsí home in North Prairie. She graduated from Palmyra High School in 1944 and later retired as a bookkeeper from Horn Hardware in Mukwonago. She was a member of Mukwonago United Church of Christ. Beulah loved to travel, cook Sunday meals for her family, play cards and take the occasional gambling outing. However, she especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rod (Marsha) Vick of Mukwonago and Sheila (John) Devins of Seeley Lake, Mont.; her grandchildren, Blaise, Riley Haley and Josh; her special friend, Jerry Baker, and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, on Jan. 13, 1998; and her brothers, Frederick and William Holsinger.
A visitation is set from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 315 Main St., Mukwonago. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. that same day at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Hartley officiating. Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago. Memorials are appreciated to the Mukwonago United Church of Christ.
