Robert D. Miller, 71, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at Virginia Health & Rehablitation Center. He was born in Milwaukee on April 4, 1935, to Joseph and Cecilia (nee Kowalski) Miller.

Robert was a 1953 graduate of Boys Tech. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of the Waukesha County Detachment Marine Corps League and the Elks Lodge #400. Robert was the owner of Bobby & Lupes Tap on Main Street and he enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lupe (nee Martinez) Miller of Waukesha; four stepchildren, Julie Shields of Waukesha, Robert (Lisa) Henson Jr. of Waukesha, William (Lisa) Henson of Milwaukee and Carolyn Henson of Waukesha; two daughters, Diane Stevens of California and Linda Anderson of Mexico; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was further survived by two sisters, Ruth Hart of Illinois and Bernie Voight of Richland Center. Many friends and relatives also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosie Wyrobek, Elenore Barcz, and a brother, Harry Miller.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 17, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial with full military Honors will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove.
