Elizabeth ‘Bette’ McNaughton
March 10, 1945 - May 9, 2006
Elizabeth "Bette" McNaughton, 61, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc after a courageous battle with leukemia. Bette will forever be missed by her loving, devoted husband of 42 years, Bob McNaughton. She was the beautiful, loving mother and best friend of Christina McNaughton, and the cherished nana of Shaeanna-Rae McNaughton. Shaeanna will dearly miss her nana for the bond and closeness they shared. Bette was also the dear sister and sister-in-law of Diane (Bill) Greely, Marlene Budnick, Julie Hill and Connie (Louie) Wheeler, Mick (Luann) Budnick, Rusty (June) Budnick, Woody Budnick, Jan Follis and Lorne (Ranate) Budnick. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and by dear and cherished friends.
She was preceded in eternal life by her parents, Lorne and Maxine Budnick; her in-laws, Raymond and Anna McNaughton; and brother-in-law, Jay Hill.
Bob, Chris and Shaeanna would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to AngelsGrace Hospice, Dr. O’Malley, nurses and staff for the exceptional care Bette received while she was there to make her journey home. The family would also like to thank Bette’s oncologist, Dr. Gilberto Rodrigues, and the staff for the fight they fought along with Bette, her neurologist, Dr. Stanya Smith, and nurse Mary for all of the great treatment and comfort they gave Bette and her family. Finally, the family would like to thank Bette’s family doctor, Dr. Stephen Du Fresne, who was there from beginning to end with Bette and her family.
