June L. Brockhaus

June L. Brockhaus, 80, died Tuesday, May 24, 2006, at her daughter’s home in Dousman.

She was born June 19, 1925, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Howard and Mary (Baldwin) Fabian.

She is a veteran of U.S. Navy, was employed at the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee and Madison General in Madison as a nurse’s assistant. June was a member of Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children, Harry "Skip" (Nancy) Bruch of Fall River, Bruce L. (Lynn) Bruch of Raytown, Mo., Pamela (Kenneth) Lange of Dousman; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her brother, Jerry (Barbara) Fabian of Lady Lake, Fla., sister, Shirley (Harold) Allan of Fairlawn, Ohio, sister-in-law Marion (Russell) Green of Sun Prairie, brother-in-law, Michael (Rhoda) Bruch, sisters-in-law, Wilma Pomplum of Wautoma and Irene Drum of Nashville, Tenn., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry R. Bruch Sr., second husband, Walter Brockhaus, and her brother, Howard A. Fabian.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2006, at the Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church at the corner of highways E and D in the town of Genesee. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of services at the church. The Rev. Wayne A. Meier will officiate. Burial will be at 11a.m. Tuesday (meet at cemetery) at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. A special thanks to Linden Heights Assisted Living and Aurora Visiting Nurse Association.
