Charles G. ‘Bud’ Delsman
March 18, 1928 - May 24, 2006
Charles G. "Bud" Delsman, 78, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 24, 2006.
How does one describe a man who walks this earth and touches so many people? Charles was better known as "Bud" to family and close friends. Those who knew Bud know how he always took the time to listen and give support to those he cared for. Bud was in business for more than 40 years. He started out in home delivery with his two brothers, Earl and John (Delsman Brothers Dairy). In 1968-69, Bud purchased Etzel Dairy in Menomonee Falls and continued to grow into C. Delsman & Sons Distributor. He moved the offices of C. Delsman & Sons to Waukesha, where he hauled bulk and finished dairy products for Golden Guernsey Dairy. The business continues to grow today, with his two sons, Dale and Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Heidi; sons, Clay, Dale and Scott; daughter-in-law, Debi; and five grandchildren, Clay Jr., Stacy, Tracy, Hailey and Erica.
Family and guests will celebrate Charles’ memorial from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 28, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94).
