Jimmie D. Peters

Jimmie D. Peters, 76, of the town of Little Falls, Monroe County, formerly of Waukesha, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, in his home under the care of Franciscan Skemp Hospice.

Jimmie Douglas Peters was born April 8, 1930, in Waukesha, the son of Floyd Lester and Hildegard (nee Zillmer) Peters. He was raised in Waukesha and graduated from Waukesha High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a tool and die maker. He was first employed at the Waukesha Motor Company. For the 38 years prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Waukesha foundry.

Jimmie had lived in Waukesha until moving to the town of Little Falls in 1989.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His survivors include two sons, Douglas (Donna) Peters of rural Sparta and Jeffery (Maureen) Peters of Waukesha and five grandchildren, Trent, Travis, Sierra, Kyle and Courtney Peters.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.

In accordance with Mr. Peters’ wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
