Kathryn G. Ellarson

Lifelong Waukesha resident Kathryn G. Ellarson, 91, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wales on Aug. 21, 1914, to Walter and Sarah (nee Price) Jenkins.

Kathryn was a 1932 graduate of Waukesha High School. On Aug. 22, 1936, she married Floyd Ellarson. He preceded her in death Aug. 18, 1988. Kathryn was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waukesha, a charter member of the Waukesha Ladies Eagles Auxiliary, Aerie #453, member of the Waukesha Historical Society, R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and a volunteer at the YWCA. She had been the manager of the Constant Hosiery store at the Five Points and was retired from the Godfrey Co.

Surviving is her sister, Evadna "Evie" Durr of Waukesha; nieces, Judy (Robert) Jandt, Sue-Ellen (Keith) Beauregard, Jacqueline (Sergio Lisk) Johnson, Kitty (Chris Jockheck) Kingston and Jeanne (Joe) Koch; nephew, Larry (Cindy) Johnson; and brother-in-law, John Kingston. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, Layne Jenkins, and her sisters, Bernice Kingston and Beulah Johnson. She was very proud of her Welsh heritage. Her ancestors came from Llandigar County of Garnarfon in North Wales.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the noon funeral service Friday, June 2, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. David Ellis will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
