Adelaide M. ‘Blondie’ Koepke

Adelaide M. "Blondie" Koepke of Waukesha died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at age 81. Blondie was born Aug. 23, 1925, in Waukesha, the daughter of William and Mavis Riedel.

She was a member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Thursday Morning Golf League. Blondie was a sales clerk at Zillmer’s Office Supply and Seeling Office Supply. She was the secretary of the golf league and taught Sunday school at the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. Blondie loved to golf and bowl.

Blondie was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Koepke; her parents; and her brother, William "Bill" Riedel. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. The women’s auxiliary will hold a ceremony from 11:45 a.m. until the time of funeral services at noon. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will officiate. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery immediately following the service.
