Jill R. Capelle

Jill R. Capelle, 44, of Plymouth, passed away late Sunday evening, Nov. 26, 2006, at her home surrounded by her loving family, friends and her canine friend.

She was born July 19, 1962, in Waukesha, a daughter of Ayleene Grabow and the late Donald Grabow. She attended Waukesha grade schools and graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1980. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated in 1984 with a degree in special education. She continued her education and received her masters degree in special education in 1996.

On Nov. 30, 1985, she married David Capelle at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. The couple have resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

Jill was a special education teacher at Willowglen Academy in Plymouth for a couple of years and was currently a special education teacher at Sheboygan Falls High School for 21 years. She also owned and operated Capelles Farm Market in Plymouth with her husband. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth and served as a Sunday school teacher and was also on the church council.

She was a member of the Plymouth Fire Department Auxiliary holding all the offices in the organization.

She played on many softball and bowling teams, which included the Sunday night couples league in Cascade, the Thursday night womens league in Cascade and mini bowling at Turner Hall. Jill helped the Special Olympics, participated in Relay for Life Cancer Walk and also the Road America Cancer Run/Walk as a member of Jills Jaunt.

She enjoyed rooting for the Packers, collecting angels, camping, spending good times with friends and the love of her children.

Survivors include her loving husband of 21 years, Dave of Plymouth; her children, Tony and Amy Capelle, both at home; her mother, Ayleene Grabow of Plymouth; two sisters, Deborah (Peter) Zinda of Hubertus, RaeAnn (Rory) Beebe of Plymouth; one brother, Dennis (Patricia) Grabow of Grafton; her mother-in-law, Betty Capelle of Forsyth, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Schneider of Greenbush, Chris (Mike) Briggs of Plymouth, Carol (Jeff) Mills of Mosinee, Fred (Mayra) Capelle of Madison and Linda Ribar of Princeton, Ill.; and special friends, Laurie and Jeff Born of Plymouth and the Packer Crew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ralph Capelle.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Suchon Funeral Home, 1317 Highway 67, Plymouth. Visitation continues at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Nov. 30, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth. The Rev. William Rishel, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Saron United Church of Christ Cemetery in the town of Sheboygan Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will assist in establishing a college scholarship fund for special education of Sheboygan Falls in Jills name.
