Theodore G. Jencen

Theodore G. Jencen was born in Almond on April 21, 1917, and passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at the age of 89 years.

He married Norma Traeder on June 25, 1949, and they celebrated 57 years of marriage this year.

He is also survived by his children, Susan (Donald) Loeffler of Frankfort, Ill., John (Stephanie) Jencen, Hartford, Cynthia Rose of DePere and Kathleen Peterson of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Cristi Plotkin, Noelle (James) Hayden and Bryan Loeffler; and his great-grandchildren, Trista and Alexander Plotkin. He is also survived by his sister, Bette Baxter of Eau Claire and was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Theodore was the owner of Jencen Burner Service in Nashotah and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Knights of Columbus-Oconomowoc, and was a past member of the Nashotah Chamber of Commerce and the Nashotah Fire Department.

A memorial Mass will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Road, Nashotah. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

If desired, memorials may be directed to St. Joan of Arc Grade School or the Adult Day Care Center at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
