Robert A. Bischel Dec. 16, 1920 - Oct. 20, 2006Robert A. Bischel, 85, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at his residence in Dousman surrounded by his family. He was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Dousman, the son of Herbert and Edna (Nold) Bischel. Bob was a lifelong resident of Dousman, where he was a member of St. Brunoﾕs Catholic Church, member of the Dousman American Legion, member of the Dousman Fire Department, and he was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed salesman for agriculture products. He is survived by his children, Donald Bischel of Dousman, Barbara Wilson of Waukesha, Beverly Bischel of Dousman, Nancy (David) Williams of Dousman and Lori (Howard) Olson of Whitewater; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirlene; son, Larry; brother, Harold (Dutch); and a sister, Shirlianne. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 24, at St. Brunoﾕs Catholic Church in Dousman. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services today at the church. The Rev. Ralph Gross will officiate. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at St. Brunoﾕs Cemetery, (meet at church) with full military honors. If desired, memorials to St. Brunoﾕs endowment fund or the Dousman EMTﾕs. Special thanks to the Rolland Nelson Crossroads Home Hospice for their care.
