John ‘Jack’ Friedel

John "Jack" Friedel, 73, of Waukesha, found peace Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006.

He was born May 15, 1933, in Watertown, the son of John and Patricia (nee Roach) Friedel.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was an assistant manager of A&P Grocery for 28 years and later worked for 24 years as a maintenance manager at American Serb Hall. Jack loved going up north to fish, as well as spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his children, Mike (Donna), Tim (Tammy), Pam Miller and David (Annette); his grandchildren, Michael (Ginger) Friedel, Matt Friedel, Daniel Miller, Cari Jo Friedel and Derek Lambert; his great-grandchildren, Shawn Bucksa and Michael Friedel III; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road, Waukesha. Upon his wishes, Jack will be cremated.
