Donna Rae Huebner

Donna Rae Huebner, 52, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at University Hospital in Madison. She was born on Dec. 19, 1953, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Henry and Lorraine (nee Fredrick) Schmidt.

She had been a resident of Palmyra for 18 years and was employed at Pick ‘n Save in Mukwonago. She enjoyed gardening, reading novels, the Packers (Brett Favre) and soap operas.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip, whom she married Dec. 11, 1989, in Waukesha; two sons, Phillip and Joshua of Palmyra; stepdaughter, Nicole; three stepgrandchildren; four brothers, Dennis (Pam) Schmidt of Virginia, David (Ellen) Schmidt of Palmyra, James (Sheila) Schmidt of Milwaukee and Donald (Kay) Schmidt of Dousman; two sisters, Karen (Michael) Kohn of South Milwaukee and Diane (Paul) Snyder of Muskego; half-brothers, Gerald, Norman and Raymond; half-sisters, Alice, Carol and Janet; aunt, Shirley (Herman) Rossbach; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 23, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 320 W. Main St., Palmyra. The Rev. Steven Blyth will officiate with burial at Hillside Cemetery in Palmyra.

She was a loving and giving mother and wife.
