Hazel A. Klug

Hazel A. Klug (nee Hargrave) died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Waukesha on Sept. 27, 1913, to Arthur and Kathryn (nee Hoppe) Hargrave.

Hazel was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing. She was a wonderful gardener and homemaker and was interested in family genealogy. She was a longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Waukesha Engine and Schoenwalder Plumbing.

She is survived by her sister, Gladys Smith of Brookfield, and two brothers, Arthur (the late Barbara) Hargrave of Wales and Roy (Dorothy) Hargrave of Juneau. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Klug; their infant son, Albert Arthur Klug; and her sisters, Lucile Gruenwald and Jane Tolbert.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Sept. 22, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
