James M. ĎJimí Wiesenthal

James M. "Jim" Wiesenthal of Waukesha died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center at age 71. Jim was born Oct. 1, 1935, in Waukesha, the son of Marvin and Leona (nee Roets) Wiesenthal.

Jim was an administrative assistant for the Waukesha Water Utility, a member of American Legion Post 8, the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ and an avid gardener.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife, Maryon (nee Davies), who he married Aug. 20, 1960; his son, Ward Wiesenthal of Waukesha; and his daughters, Barbara (Michael) Sprecher of Waukesha and Laurie (Angelo) Matelli of Janesville. He was affectionately known as "Pa" by his four grandchildren, Sarah Sprecher, Jon Sprecher, James R. "Jake" Wiesenthal and Asia Matelli. Jim is also survived by his brother, William (Joyce) Wiesenthal of Waukesha; sister, Jean (Chuck) Kolstad of Nekoosa; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, April 18, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.
