Lloyd J. Yaeger

June 18, 1916 - April 16, 2007

Lloyd J. Yaeger, 90, of Waukesha, died peacefully Monday, April 16, 2007, at the Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 18, 1916.

He was a former member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and loved to play the organ. He was a longtime employee of the Waukesha Public School System and was a member of Waukesha Lodge No. 37, Free and Accepted Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Julie (Lee) Hickey and Bonnie (Jim) Pettit; grandchildren, Roxanne Olson, Kevin (Amanda) Hickey, Tim (Ann) Diedrich, LeAnn Klingbiel, Kristin (Wayne) Pikalik, Kim (Darin) Hickey, Dan Hickey, Rob Baird, Ron (Jenny) Baird, Bonnie (Matt) VanWagoner, Jennifer (Tom) Eckstein and Mike (Beth) Murphy; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers, Junior (Loretta) Yager, Charles Yaeger and Truman (Brenda) Yaeger; sisters, Sis Connors, Ruth Sonnenberg, Delores Zaruba and Lorraine Hain; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 61 years, Josephine (nee Migach); two daughters, Donna Hickey and Cherree Murphy; two sisters; and one brother.

Private services were held at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial took place at Prairie Home Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and support of Lloyd.
