Rose M. Dobrowski

Feb. 29, 1916 - April 22, 2007

Rose M. Dobrowski of Waukesha, formerly a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, at LindenGrove in Waukesha, at age 91. Rose was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Chicago, the daughter of Henry and Veronica (nee Kruk) Dankowski. Rose loved God dearly and devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.

Rose will be deeply missed by her son, Chester (Jane) Dobrowski of Waukesha; her brothers, Stanley Dankowski and Bruno Dankowski, both of Chicago; her three sisters, Helen Dankowski, Martha Dankowski and Florence Hetzel, all of Chicago; her two grandchildren, Richard (Ann) Dobrowski and Danita (Robert) Fitch, both of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; great-grandchildren, Katarina Dobrowski, Hannah Dobrowski, Natalie Fitch and Lilianna Dobrowski; sister-in-law, Wanda Metra of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and many loving nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; her sisters, Lucy Solecki and Frances Duerbeck; and her brother, Walter Dankowski.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. funeral service Thursday, April 26, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Leonard Barbian will officiate.

Rose’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Seasons Hospice and LindenGrove Nursing Home. Rose’s family is deeply appreciative to Sue Julien for her gentle care of Rose.
