Arlyne Louise Miller

Arlyne Louise Miller of Oconomowoc died peacefully at her home Monday, April 23, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Arlyne was born in Gary, Ind., on Feb. 25, 1937, to William and Cardula Henderson.
Arlyne remained in Wisconsin after receiving her degree in psychology from Marquette University and, later, her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Arlyne was a social worker with Milwaukee County and later at Lad Lake in the town of Ottawa. She retired from South Street Clinic in Oconomowoc, a facility that she founded and of which she was very proud.
Arlyne is survived by her husband, James; her daughter, Blair O’Brien; and her grandchildren; Quin (Dana) and Missy Christensen. She is further survived by her mother; her brother, Wayne (Stacie); sister, Lorrine (Ken); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Arlyne was preceded in death by her father and her late husband, Quin O’Brien.
Arlyne’s family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 27, at their home, 1016 N. Lake Road., Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for the education of Arlyne’s granddaughter would be appreciated.
