Serena A. Freitag Dec. 21, 1918 - April 24, 2007
She graduated from St. Joseph Grade School, then from Waukesha High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Harlow J. Freitag on June 15, 1940, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member. She was a member of the Christian Women at St. Joseph, serving several years as president, and was also a member of their Holy Dusters and Bethany Guild. Along with being a devoted mother of 12 children, she メwent to workモ at age 60 for Avalon Manor and worked for 15 years before retiring. Serena will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kathy (Fred) Huebner of Waukesha, Nancy Singer of Waukesha, メInchyモ Mary (Dale) Baldowsky of Mukwonago, Dottie McCann of Waukesha, メRickieモ Christine (Jose) Hiracheta of Waukesha, Debbie (Eric) DeShong of Waukesha, Joan (John) Heiden of Oak Creek and Ann (Richard) Braatz of Oxford, and her sons, Michael Freitag and Tim (Marianne) Freitag, both of Waukesha, and Todd Freitag of Tampa, Fla. Serena will also be very sadly missed by her grandchildren, Freddy, Nikki, Travis, Paul, Dale Jr. (MaryAnna), Josh (Kim), Nathan, Jenny (Jeff), Leanne, Jared, Kayla, Kristen, Erin, Jeremy, Christopher, Brittany, John Jr., Jason, Sarah, Richie and Matthew, and by her great メgrapeモ grandchildren, Isabelle, Jasmine, Gregory, Kaylynn, Laren and Payton. She will also be greatly missed by her good shopping friend, Vi Tinnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlow; her daughter, Judy; her brothers, Leo, Henry, Sylvester, Alois, Norbert and Giles メMikeモ Kennedy; sisters, Genevieve and Liona メPatモ Kennedy; and her parents. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A vigil service will take place at 7 p.m. Services continue Tuesday, May 1,with prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m., followed by a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church for the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev.
