Margaret Ann Hahn
April 18, 1931 - April 26, 2007
Margaret Ann Hahn (nee Cartwright) of Hartford, formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was 76. She was born April 18, 1931, in Rome, to Sam and Rose (nee Algiers) Cartwright.
Margaret married Clem Hahn on Aug. 6, 1949, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Margaret loved doing arts and crafts, especially ceramics. She was very family-oriented and loved having the family together and spending time with them. Margaret and Clem raised four foster children who called her "mom." She also was affectionately known as "Aunt Margaret" and called "Grandma Hahn" by many children. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Clem; her son, Bill Hahn of Oconomowoc; two grandchildren, Dustin and Ashley Hahn; and three sisters, Rosella Hoffman of Hebron, Frances DeMarcantonio of Waukesha and Mary Finn of Delafield. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Gordon, Alois, Lyman and Bob; one sister, Ethel; and John McKenzie, a foster son.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence with the Rev. Joseph Dominic officiating. Interment will be at St. Bruno Cemetery, Dousman.
