Emil F. DeQuardo

Emil F. DeQuardo, a lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at age 82. Emil was born in Waukesha on Oct. 12, 1924, the son of Henry and Caroline (nee Denicola) DeQuardo. Emil served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II stationed in England and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 721. He was employed as a time keeper for International Harvester for many years. Emil was an avid golfer and Packers fan.
Emil will be missed by his sons, Michael (Nancy) DeQuardo and Allen DeQuardo, both of Waukesha. He was the loving grandfather to Nicholas and Stefanie, and brother of Alfred (Rose Marie) DeQuardo of Fort Meyers, Fla. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Emil is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; brother, Dominic; and sisters, Angeline, Viola and Jesse.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Monday, Aug. 20, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Jason Lavann will officiate. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.
