Jack E. Werner, 73, found peace Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

He was a lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 494.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and great-granddaughter, Carly Rae.

He is the loving father of Carrie (Steve) Schultz, Lisa (Scott) Johnson and Laurie (Timm) Krueger; adoring grandfather of Pvt. Daniel (Julie) Bayless (serving in Afghanistan), Army Spc. Matthew (Erica) Schultz (stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.), Nathen Schultz, Christopher (Marlene) Mounce, Kali (Greg) Mayeshiba and Austin and Zack Krueger; great-grandfather of Lorenzo, Kasandra, Jacob, Isaac, Noah, Prescott, Faye and Olivia; brother of Carl (Katherine) of Franklin; and brother-in-law of Dawn (Todd) Famularo. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Friday, Aug. 24, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
