Shirley Jean Tomasello
Shirley Jean Tomasello of Delafield went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at age 64.
Shirley was employed as a secretary in the Milwaukee and Kettle Moraine school systems for many years. She was active in her church community at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church. She volunteered with and helped organize the St. Vincent De Paul meal program, was active in the Milwaukee Life Chain and was a sponsor to a family in Peru. Shirley loved gardening, cooking and watching all the wildlife in her back yard. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shirley will be tremendously missed by her children, Lynn (Steve) Rossman, Dean Tomasello and Rebecca (Eric) Helm, and grandchildren, Joe, Stevie, Ashley, Katie, Lexi, Logan and Preston. Shirley is also survived by other relatives, many friends and will always be loved like a daughter by May Reed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, and her parents.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Monday, Dec. 3, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave., town of Delafield. The Rev. Daniel Volkert will officiate. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee (meet at the cemetery).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shirley’s name may be directed to the ALS Association, 2505 N. 124th St., Brookfield, WI 53005.
