Joan Seip (nee Barnes) of Waukesha died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Waukesha Springs at age 86. She was born Dec. 25, 1920, the daughter of Harry and Emma (nee Bayorgeon) Barnes.
Joan was a member of St. William Catholic Church and worked for many years for Dr. Smirl as a medical transcriptionist. For the past five years she lived at Oakhill Terrace in Waukesha.
Joan will be sadly missed by her children, Maggie (Michael) Dobyns of Waukesha, Paul (Debra) Webb of Oconomowoc and Patrick (Patricia) Seip of Houston, Texas; along with six grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Dobyns, Brandon and Ashley Seip, Paul D. Webb and Tiffany J. (Phil) Kohout; and one great-grandson, Phil Kohout. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John, and her sister, Patricia Barnes.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the 5:30 p.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 14, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Leonard Barbian will officiate. A private family burial will be held at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee.
