Al Knoebel, 63, of Kilgore, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Tyler, Texas. He was born Feb. 7, 1944, in Waukesha.
Al was a 1962 graduate of Waukesha High School. Mr. Knoebel served our country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1971. He moved his family to East Texas in the early 1970s. He had been employed at Waukesha-Pearce since 1978.
Al is survived by his wife, Rachel Knoebel of Kilgore; mother, Helen Knoebel of Waukesha; two sons, Bill Knoebel (fiancee Katheryn Pieters) of Dallas and David (Sherry) Knoebel of Dallas; a daughter, Kelly Pritchett of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a grandson, Alex Knoebel of Dallas; two sisters, Ruthie Coles of Hallsville, Texas, and Cindy (Bill) Holcomb of Palmyra; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Barb Knoebel of Waukesha; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today, Dec. 14, at Rader Funeral Home, 401 N. Martin St., Kilgore, Texas. Services for Al will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dudley Plaisance officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery.
